NORTHEAST EL PASO, TEXAS

     Since our launch in 2000, the team at Rotary Club of Northeast El Paso Texas has worked tirelessly to promote our cause. We are fortunate to have volunteers and staff from all walks of life who bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do. This is what enables us to achieve our goals year after year.

     While there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact. We don’t measure our success through just facts and figures, but through happy faces and heartwarming feedback. See how you can become part of the difference.

     The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is a global organization that supports service projects in El Paso 

and around the world.  The TRF’s mission is to reduce poverty, improve health, and assist with 

education through scholarship. 

​

     The Rotary Foundation has provided scholarship grants and contributed to a variety of deserving charities and civic institutions in El Paso. The Club’s spirit of giving has involved the enthusiastic participation of its members, spouses, and friends, and numerous generous cash donations. Examples of charitable support include the Opportunity Women’s Resource Center, Insights Science Discovery, Veterans at Breakfast, Pregnancy & Fatherhood Solutions, I Eat U Eat (IEUE), El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Pantry and scholarships for students to attend local colleges and universities to name a few.

     The Rotary Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, receives, holds, and manages funds. The only income from the Foundation is used for annual charitable purposes; funds are not drawn from the principal. TRF is fortunate to be one of the very few clubs in Rotary International to be affiliated with its own foundation.

     The Rotary Foundation is separate from the Rotary Club of Northeast El Paso, with its own Board and By-Laws. Annual funds for giving come from three sources: (1) earnings on the Foundation’s professional managed investments, which now total about $650,000; (2) members’  contributions to The Rotary Foundation; and (3) fundraisers.

     The scope of generous charitable and scholarship giving over the years would not be possible without the financial support of The Rotary Foundation, which in Rotary’s mission is “Service Above Self.”
